1.stage of presenting grammar

- check understanding / give meaning example.

2.stage of drilling
- Model drill
- choral drill
- individual drill
- close pair drill
3. Stage of presenting short dialogue.
-set up the situation: show/draw the picture and ask question who are they? do you think what are they doing or talking about?
-Give/ elicit any new word or important word from the dialogue.
-Draw speech bubbles elicit/ give word from the dialogue and write up on the board using word or picture prompts.
-drill the dialogue line by line(choral and open pair)
-choose strong student to be volunteer to say the dialogue.
(all students practice in the same time) one pair come to demonstrate the dialogue at the front.
-student copy dialogue into their notebook.
4. teaching listening and reading.e
1. pre reading or listening
pre-reading is an activity to do before reading or listening.
in this step teacher will present new vocabularies by using picture and practice to pronounce using four techniques of drilling.
+ lean in
>typical task: ordering, predicting,
>guessing task
2. while reading or listening.
+ read for gist(main idea).
+read for specific information.
3. post reading or listening
is an extension activities it usually integrates at least one of other skill, and involves information transfer,, professionalization, writing up.
